Ravinia Farmers Market Update – week of July 6, 2022
The Midsummer Market season has arrived, and so have Michigan berries. This week’s Ravinia Farmers Market is featuring sweet and tart cherries, raspberries, early blueberries and apricots, and potentially additional fruit selections. Stop by this Wednesday, July 6, from 7am-1pm at Jens Jensen Park, in the Ravinia Business District for the freshest in local produce and other market items.
Plan your weekly menu with what’s in season at the Market, including this year’s first harvests of green beans, cucumbers and zucchini, plus local and organic kale and chard selections, mixed greens, lettuces, green onions, garlic scapes, salad turnips, snap peas, parsley, flavorful basil, and other herbs, fruits and veggies.
Join more than 35 weekly local produce, food, artisanal product, plant and natural product vendors in the beautiful setting at Jens Jensen Park. In addition to local and organic produce, select from farm fresh eggs, cheeses, meats, local honey, pastries and baked goods, vegan and gluten-free selections, condiments, spices and chocolates, artisan oils and flours, skin care products and soaps, jewelry and decorative items, as well as fresh cut flowers and beautiful plants for your home and garden. Several vendors also offer freshly-made breakfast and lunch items to eat at the Market or take home.
