Vaccines will be administered by experienced COVID-19 vaccination vendors contracted with the Illinois Department of Public Health. The first dose will be available on July 14 and the second dose on August 4, and second appointments will be scheduled at the time of first dose. Those interested in receiving the vaccine are encouraged to preregister before the event begins at Prism.org/raviniafm or by calling 833-621-1284 and requesting the Ravinia Farmers Market closed POD vaccination site. “We’re happy to be able to offer a service to our community by hosting a State of Illinois COVID-19 vaccination event, and hope this will be an opportunity for those of all eligible ages who have not yet been able to receive their vaccines,” says Ravinia Farmers Market Manager Ed Kugler.
