Ravinia Farmers Market Update – week of June 29, 2022 The Michigan berry season is officially here, with early blueberries, raspberries and cherries available at this week’s Ravinia Farmers’ Market, Wednesday, June 22 from 7am-1pm at Jens Jensen Park, in the Ravinia Business District. Plan your weekly menu shopping around all that’s in season this week, including a variety of early summer fruits and the final weeks of Michigan strawberries. (Market Manager’s tip: buy extra to make jam or freeze). Also, in season this week: local and organic kale, chard, mixed greens, lettuces, garlic scapes, salad radishes and turnips, snap peas, parsley, basil, cilantro and other flavorful herbs, fruits and veggies. Join more than 35 weekly local produce, food, artisan product, plant and natural product vendors in the beautiful setting at Jens Jensen Park. In addition to local and organic produce, select from farm fresh eggs, cheeses, meats, local honey, pastries and baked goods, vegan and gluten-free selections, condiments, spices and chocolates, artisan oils and flours, skin care products and soaps, as well as fresh cut flowers and beautiful plants for your home and garden. Running through the September 14 market, be sure to stop by the Welcome Tent and enter the Ravinia Festival Free Drawing Experience for a chance to win two tickets to upcoming concerts, courtesy of Ravinia Festival.
