Ravinia Farmers Market Update – week of September 28

It’s the first week of Autumn and the Ravinia Farmers Market continues every Wednesday from 8am-1pm (7am early bid shopping) at Jens Jensen Park, through October 26. Stop by the Market this Wednesday morning for a fabulous selection of late summer fruits and veggies from local vendors and producers and enjoyi all the Market has to offer. Michigan in-season fruits include fall apples and pears, and a selection of peaches, plums and late season berries, plus a variety of local honey options, are also available from our produce vendors. Also shop for flavorful heirloom tomatoes, squash, eggplant, colorful peppers, beets, cauliflower, radish, turnips, kohlrabi, lettuce, beans, greens, carrots, onions, herbs and other favorites. Look for pumpkins and gourds to make their first appearance, too. Plan your weekly menu and school lunches when shopping the Market while supporting local farmers and small community businesses.
