Highland Park Indoor Winter Ravinia Farmers Market Welcomes Community

HIGHLAND PARK, IL (January 8, 2025) — This winter, the community warmth continues every Saturday at the Ravinia Farmers Market, held indoors at with partner Wayfarer Theaters. The indoor market season runs from January 11 through April 26, open from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. at the theater at 1850 2nd Street in Highland Park.

Located in the heart of downtown, the indoor Winter Ravinia Farmers Market offers an assortment of fresh, local produce and artisan goods. Community members can explore products from area favorites like Jacobson Family Farms and Farmer Nick’s, as well as a selection of market food products, meats, eggs, honey, teas, salsas, microgreens, artisan goods and nourishing personal care items. The market also features an array of freshly prepared foods and bakery treats.

Alongside shopping, the market coincides with matinee movies at Wayfarer Theaters, creating an ideal weekend destination for entertainment and local shopping. Ed Kugler, Manager of the Ravinia Farmers Market, highlights the importance of the market: “It’s a place for the community to gather, support local farmers and artisans, and enjoy the bounty of the region, even in the colder months.”

Steve Sarowitz, co-founder of Wayfarer Theaters, emphasizes the market’s role in the community: “Our partnership with Ravinia Farmers Market aligns with our mission to integrate culture, entertainment, and community engagement. It’s more than a market—it’s a hub for local collaboration and enjoyment.”
