Ravinia Farmers Market Update – FINAL MARKET OF THE 2022 SEASON – week of October 26

Join us this Wednesday from 8am-1pm (7am early bid shopping) at Jens Jensen Park for the final Ravinia Farmers Market of the 2022 season. Rain or shine, we encourage you to come out for this week’s market and support our local farmers, producers and small businesses while shopping for a great selection of fall fruits, veggies and other Market items.

Michigan in-season fruits include a variety of sweet and tart fall apples and pears, and a limited selection of late season berries. Also look for local honey options and small batch preserves, pickles and sauces from our vendors. You’ll also still find heirloom tomatoes, as well as colorful winter squash, eggplant, sweet and hot peppers, beets, cauliflower, radish, turnips, kohlrabi, lettuce, greens, carrots, herbs and other favorites. Pumpkins and decorative gourds are also still available for your fall decorating needs.

Plan your weekly menu when shopping the Market, and stock up for the coming weeks. Select from farm fresh eggs, cheeses, meats, breads, pastries and baked goods, vegan and gluten-free selections, condiments, spices and chocolates, and snack items. Several vendors also offer freshly-made breakfast and lunch items to eat at the Market or take home.

Weekly live music is sponsored by the Highland Park Community Foundation. “Jazzman” Jeff Justman performs acoustic Beatle Jazz”, 60s Music, Torch Songs, and Originals from 8:45-10:45am. Bowmanville returns to the Market with gypsy swing music from 11am-1pm.

The Ravinia Market runs through the end of October, so be sure not to miss the final week of this Highland Park community event. Special thank you to our Market Gold Sponsors Carolyn Cerf Coldwell Banker Realty and Keyth Security. Additional gratitude to our other sponsors and Friends of Ravinia Farmers Market.
