Discover Fresh Delights at the Ravinia Farmers’ Market This July
Welcome the vibrant spirit of summer at the Ravinia Farmers’ Market, open this Wednesday, July 3, from 7am to 1pm, in Jens Jensen Park. This week celebrates our local seasonal bounty with an abundance of Michigan berries, cherries, and likely the first blueberries and peaches of the season.
With over 20 vendors, the market features a vast selection of fresh, local, and organic produce, including fruits, vegetables, baked goods, artisanal foods, plants and flowers, along with community business and informational tents. Discover early cucumbers, summer squash, organic kale, chard, mixed greens, lettuces, greenhouse tomatoes, garlic scapes, salad turnips, snap peas, parsley, flavorful basil, dill, and other in-season varieties to inspire your weekly menu. Several vendors also offer freshly made breakfast and lunch items to eat at the Market or take home.
Enjoy live music sponsored by The Highland Park Community Foundation and Life Rhythms. Local singer-songwriter Pierce Crask continues his Artist in Residency series from 9:3-11, followed by great bluegrass with the Lucky Pickers from 11:30-1pm.
Visit the Welcome Tent to enter the Ravinia Festival Free Drawing Experience. Lucky marketgoers could win two passes to “The Music of ABBA” at Ravinia Festival on July 5, along with a Ravinia goodie bag. Other prizes may include natural product goodie bags and gift cards from local Highland Park merchants.
We extend our heartfelt thanks to our Market Sponsors, including the Ravinia Neighbors Association, The Highland Park Community Foundation, Life Rhythms, State Farm/Joe Palminteri Insurance Agency, Carolyn Cerf @properties, Ravinia Festival, Wayfarer Theaters, Chiro One Wellness, Keyth Security Systems, and many others for their generous support.
The Ravinia Farmers’ Market is more than just a shopping destination—it’s a vibrant community event that celebrates local farming and sustainable living. We invite everyone to enjoy a delightful and fruitful shopping experience that supports local farmers and artisans.
