Shop the Ravinia Farmers Market on Wednesday, July 19, from 8am to 1pm at Jens Jensen Park

Delight in the abundant harvest of Michigan summer fruits at this week’s Ravinia Farmers Market. Located in Jens Jensen Park, the market operates from 8am to 1pm, offering early bird shopping starting at 7am. Discover a rich assortment of cherries, blueberries and other berries, currants and the first peaches of the season. More fruits will become available as the season progresses, providing a fresh and varied selection each week.

The market is not only a place to find the best in seasonal produce but also a hub for local artisans, producers and food vendors. Shop early and plan your weekly meals around what’s fresh and local, with offerings including zucchini, cucumbers, green beans, organic kale and chard, lettuces, beets, salad turnips, snap peas, and a vibrant collection of herbs like parsley, basil and dill. The market hosts over 20 vendors weekly, featuring everything from farm-fresh eggs, cheeses, meats, and local honey to pastries, baked goods, condiments, herbs, teas, beverages, and artisan food products. Additionally, you can find soaps, hand thrown local pottery, artisan wares, and fresh-cut flowers and plants to enhance your home and garden. Local organizations and businesses are also on hand, along with several meals-to-go food vendors.

As part of a special community engagement initiative, Yoga Six Highland Park offers a donation-based yoga class suitable for all levels at the market. The session, dubbed “Farmers Market Flow,” is a perfect way to integrate wellness into your weekly routine, providing a moment of relaxation amidst the vibrant market atmosphere. The class is held every Wednesday morning at 9:30 AM in Jens Jensen Park. Simply bring your yoga mat and enjoy. No prior registration is required, mats available if needed.

Enjoy live music sponsored by The Highland Park Community Foundation and Life Rhythms. Local singer-songwriter Pierce Crask continues his Artist in Residency series from 9:3-11, followed by the pop/folk duo Cover Story from 11:30-1pm.

Visit the Welcome Tent to enter the Ravinia Festival Free Drawing Experience. Lucky marketgoers could win two passes to CSO performances at Ravinia Festival on July 20 and 21, along with a Ravinia goodie bag. Other prizes may include natural product goodie bags and gift cards from local Highland Park merchants.
