Peaches from Klug Orchards at the Ravinia Farmers Market

Happy Fall from the Ravinia Farmers Market family.  This week’s market is abundant with local and organic seasonal vegetables and Michigan fruit and berries. Highlights of this week’s Market will include heirloom tomatoes, sweet and spicy peppers, corn, squash and pumpkins and a variety of apples, pears, peaches and plums perfect for baking and snacking.

Shopping the Market is a great way to plan your weekly menu with what’s locally in season in the Midwest, so be sure to stop by Jens Jensen Park on Wednesday, September 27 from 8am-1pm (7am early bid shopping) for a great selection of farm-fresh and locally-made artisan products and market specialties.

Join more than 20 weekly local produce, food, artisanal products, plant and natural product vendors in the beautiful setting at Jens Jensen Park. In addition to local and organic produce, select from farm fresh eggs, cheeses, meats, local honey, pastries and baked goods, condiments, specialty herbs and teas, beverages, artisan food products, skin care essentials and soaps, and fresh cut flowers and beautiful plants for your home and garden. Vendors may also offer freshly made breakfast and lunch items to eat at the Market or take home.
